Posted by on

Let me grab your attention right quick Beardtribe and those who may not be a part of the Beardtribe yet. You will not live to see a bigger beard or a better version of yourself if you do not take care of yourself. Not to be all harsh and direct, but we are grown and need to hear it straight up! Have no fear the Beardtribe is here to support one another fellow beards with some key information to help you live a longer life and grow the healthiest beard possible.

There are three key factors that are important to the success of your health: Exercise, Rest, and Diet. All three go hand in hand Beardtribe so don't even think about skipping one and doing another. You got this!

🌊Exercise

Exercising regularly is good for your overall health as it gets your cardiovascular muscle pumping and it can also increase your testosterone production. There are many studies linking increased testosterone levels to better beard growth.

Working out regularly consist of hitting at least 2-3 days a week. You'll see some results quickly such as:

  • Increase testosterone which triggers beard growth.

  • Boost in metabolism which can spur hair growth and help slim down some pounds

  • Trigger bodily recovery, which can help replenish muscle, hair, and skin

Anything can be considered exercise ex. jogging, swimming laps, hiking, jump rope, etc. so it's not strictly reserved for the gym.

🌊Rest

Sleeping helps the body to regenerate testosterone, which is why it is recommended to get 8 hours a night. We know in the perfect world that 8 hours of rest is not common so just try and get between 6-8 hours if you can. You'll be able to not only feel good during your daily routines, but you will also be less triggered.

🌊Diet

The most important thing to remember is that it starts within. It will not happen over night, but if you feed your body the proper nutrients (ex. apples, low calories, low sugar, etc.), you will see a dramatic difference in your overall health. Stick with your meal plans and continue to keep consistent.

Now that you have the keys. Get out and try something new. Keep on growing to be a healthier you!
